A young man walks along the beach. Beside him Jesus walks faithfully. The man talks and talks as Jesus remains silent. Soon the young man notices the silence. Why will you not talk to me Jesus? Jesus looks at him and states You've been to busy talking to listen to me. The man is speechless for a while. Soon he looks back at his footprints. He soon notices that at one point there were only one set of footprints. He gets mad and says why weren't you with me then! You promised that you would always be with me! Jesus just simply says, don't you remember? That's when I carried you.

As we look at the relationship between the man and Jesus, we see that the man really didn't have a great trust in Jesus. He spends so much time talking to Jesus that he doesn't even realize when Jesus talks back. Are our relationships like that? Do we just spend all our time praying, just to say amen and not listen to what God says. Are we calling God just to hang up when we're done talking? Then as the man looks back at his life he sees a time of trouble when he thought that he was alone. He gets angry just find out that Jesus had been there carrying him because he was too weak. All of us have to admit that when the going gets tough, most of the time we get mad at God because we think we are alone. We jump out of the arms that are holding us up. He never abandons us we just stop looking for him. As they say, you only find what you seek. Are we seeking God? Or are we just trying to trudge on with our life thinking that no one is helping us? Maybe we
should take a look at our own relationship with God before we do anything about anyone else's.

God Bless!!!
