My first devotional EVER!

In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God.

You've heard again and again "Actions speak louder than words." But do words HURT more than actions? Well they hurt God more than actions. You can do a lot of things and say a lot of things to God and he'll still love you. Lying still hurts others more because it hurts feelings not just their body. It strikes deeper and leaves a longer lasting hole. Gossiping badly about others can hurt God's feelings, too, because your using his words he made to talk badly about his creations. Maybe if we remember this we can hurt less people and hurt God less. Girls gossip day to day making up stories or just spreading misheard news. They have fights and friends get split up just because of one misunderstood piece of information. Maybe if we gossiped less and concentrated more on what God would want us to say, these fights wouldn't happen and we could take away that hurt that God feels when we hurt his people.
